His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo’s Wife Shed Tears of Joy

The Nation of Ghana and it’s sovereign rest in the hands of the President , His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He was successfully swon in to office on 7th January 2017 as the 5th President of the 4th Republic of Ghana.

During the swearing in by the Chief Justice Her Ladyship Justice Georgina Theodora Wood, what was described as missed feelings by the First Lady of Ghana , Rebecca Akufo-Addo as she was spotted with tears of joy as his husband gracefully took the oath of office.

Many has described it as a sign of Victory for the nation.

Meanwhile, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo pledged to deliver on his promise and added that, he will not let the country down.

He further reiterated that he is humbled by the confidence Ghanaians have instilled in him and ready to take Ghana to higher levels.

“…Humble beyond measure to take us to higher levels..”he said.

“..Make Ghana a place where dream come true…” He said in his speech.

He added that, in his government, he will reduce taxes to help drive the Economy.

He stated that the Rule of Law will be applicable to all Ghanaians.

“The law will be applicable to all of us…”he said.

“there will be discipline in all sectors…”he said.

He finally express his profound gratitude to all Head of States, Guests and all Ghanaians.
