Hearts of Oak recorded their first win on the road this season after beating Ashantigold 1-0 in Obuasi to add misery to the struggling 2015 Champions.
Substitute Paul Acquah came off the bench to produce a magical moment capable of winning any game as his fine strike won all the points for the Phobians.
It was the first time the Phobians had won back to back games this season and they were made to sweat for every bit of it as the Miners matched them boot for boot in every department.
Buoyed by the brilliance of Winful Cobbinah in midweek, the Phobians always looked threatening in every attack and they could have been awarded a penalty in the 65th minute when the ball seemed to have struck the hand of an Ashgold defender.
With about a quarter of the game remaining, Paul Acquah decided the tie to give the Phobians a second successive win in Obuasi in two years.
A poor start for the Obuasi side who have only two wins this season.
