Tax on financial services abolished

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has asked financial institutions to stop charging the 17.5 percent VAT on financial services.

A statement released by the GRA said the tax has been abolished as part of government’s tax reliefs announced in the 2017 budget statement.
