Three time Africa best player, Abedi Pele believes the appointment Kwesi Appiah to handle the Black Stars is the right decision by the Ghana FA.
The Ghana legend welcomed the ex-Ghana captain back to the position he left three years ago to coach Sudanese side Al Khartoum
Appiah was appointed last month to replace Avram Grant and expected to sign a two-year deal.
He will be unveiled this week before he officially starts work May 01.
“Kwesi Appiah is a good man. Personally I have nothing against him. I want all of us to support him succeed as the Black Stars,” Abedi told the media at the weekend.
“I wish him well. The people who appointed him believe he can do the job that’s why they appointed him. All we can do now is to back him to succeed.”
