Mansa hitmaker Bisa KDei has disclosed fans who critique his performances should remember he is a Highlife act first.
Making his point Happy FM’s Ayekoo Drive last week, the multiple award winning singer told DJ Adviser;
“I disagree with people who think I’m mostly not entertaining on stage. I don’t expect you to like everything that I do. I am a Highlife artist and I have slow songs. I have to perform the slow songs too sometimes.
“The Adonko concert forinstance, people were happy when I got on stage. I have videos to prove people were entertained on the night. Another thing that happened on the night was that… You already know a show that has Shatta Wale on is something else. Before I got into the venue people thought I was Shatta Wale, so they climbed the car I was in and stood on the car and broke some parts of it.
“When I got out and was going on stage, people still thought it was Shatta Wale till I got on stage and they were still screaming till I started the slow songs.
“Many of the fans were a little tipsy and wanted to jam but I had rehearsed with my band and needed to stick to the set before I got into the hot songs. I realized the live band was slowing the fans. Shatta Wale too had arrived at the venue and everyone was shouting his name while I was on stage so I had to quickly switch from the slow songs to the hot songs and it was really great from then.
