Okomfo Anokye SHS assistant headmaster killed by suspected robbers

The Assistant headmaster in charge of administration at the Okomfo Anokye Senior Higher School (SHS) at Wiamoase in the Ashanti region, has been killed by unknown assailants.

The 52-year-old James Agyei, was reportedly killed between Aboabogya and Adubinso in the Afigya Kwabre District of Ashanti on Sunday.

He was attacked at about 4am whilst travelling in a white Mercedes Benz saloon vehicle with registration number WR 8808 A.

Apart from his mobile phones which were taken away by the attackers, other valuables were left in the vehicle.

His remains have since been deposited at the morgue at the St. Patrick’s Hospital at Offinso, pending autopsy.




The Kodie District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr Ebenezer Benson confirmed the incident to Graphic Online and said investigations were underway.
