C.K Akonnor preaches optimism for struggling Ashantigold

Popular Ghanaian actor/comedian Sergent Dee has passionately appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to start his free education policy with Dj Switch.

Dj Switch is the winner of the eighth edition of TV3’s Talented Kidz program.Known in real life as Erica Tandoh,DJ Switch had since the commencement of the program won the hearts of many including professional Ghanaian DJs with captivating performances that won her a spot to perform at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards.

The nine-year-old girl beat stiff competition from 7 others at the grand finale held at the National Theatre, Sunday.She was presented GHC 10,000 cash prize, GHC 6,000 educational fund, products and souvenirs from sponsors.

Speaking in a telephone conversation with Razzonline.com with regards to how he perceives the talent of Dj Switch,Sergent Dee accentuated candidly that,presenting just GHC10,000 Cash Prize,with GHC6,000 as educational funds for her is not enough considering her immense talent ,thus he is appealing to president Nana Addo to give her free education.

“Ah! how can such a talented girl be given just GHC6,000 as educational funds…No its bad…she deserves to go to school for free throughout her life time so that they can monitor her well cos she is going to became the greatest female Dj ever to grace the Earth..trust me..

President Nana Akufo-Addo has said his government will absorb the cost of Senior High School education beginning September 2017 but i think its too far..he should start it now with Dj Switch..so am appealing to his Excellency to start his free education policy with Dj Switch”,Sergent Dee quipped to Razzonline.com

Sergent Dee who shot to fame in 2000/2003 through the popular Cantata TV Series on GTV and has also acted in numerous movies like ‘Atta Mortuary Man and ‘Agya Koo Gbegbemtus, took the opportunity to thank TV3 network for producing such a magnificent program.
