Lydia Forson up for AMAA 2017

Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has been nominated at the 2017 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for the prize of Best Actress in a Leading Role in Peter Sedufia’s Keteke.
She contests respected counterparts which includes; Vero Tshanda, Lupita Nyong’o, Bimbo Akintola, Josette Bushell-Mingo, Rita Dominic, Khabonina Quebec, and Zimkhitha Nyoka.
An Old Film production, Ketete, was also nominated in the Best Comedy and Costume Design categories at the awards, and also stars esteemed Ghanaian faces Adjetey Anang, Fred Amugu among others.
Lydia Forson is also popular for her roles in movies such as Perfect Picture (2009) – Supporting Role A Sting in a Tale (2009) Masquerades (2011), Phone Swap (2012), Kamara’s Tree (2013) South African series “Scandal” (2013), and A Letter From Adam (2014).
