National Policy Summit begins today

The maiden edition of the National Policy Summit (NPS) begins today at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The two-day event, created by the Ministry of Information with support from the Business and Financial Times (B&FT), is to afford selected ministries the opportunity of engaging stakeholders on specific policies and how they will be implemented.

The platform is also designed to enable the private sector identify how to tap into or be part of these policies. The main focus of the maiden summit is the economy.




The two-day summit will have five sessions and will be attended by the relevant sector ministers and stakeholders.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the special guest speaker for the summit.

Topics to be covered include: private sector opportunities in the real sector (agric/industry/services); Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP); Revenue, Expenditure and Public Financial Management Act; and debt and financial sector management strategies and implications on the economy among others.
