Soldier arrested for robbery

A military man Corporal Bernard Tsagli stationed at the 37 Military Hospital is in the grips of the Baatsona police in Accra for robbery.
He is believed to be working with three other military personnel and a taxi driver identified as Joseph Ansah.
Confirming the arrest to Daily Guide, the Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Osaberima Oware Asare Pinkron III, said the Baatsona police received a complaint from a female on May 8, 2017 that at about 11am the previous day, she was robbed by Corporal Tsagli and his accomplices after withdrawing an amount of GH¢1,500 from a bank on the Spintex road, community 18 junction.




The Police he said then mounted surveillance leading to their arrest.
Corporal Tsagli was arrested together with Joseph Ansah, but two other supposed military personnel managed to escape arrest.
A search on them revealed a taser and handcuffs.
The two have denied the offence but investigations are still ongoing.
