‘Captain Mahama’s murder spiritual’ – Kofi B

Renowned Ghanaian hip-life musician, Kofi B, known in real life as Eric Kofi Boakye Yiadom has said lynching of a military office, Captain Maxwell Mahama is spiritual.

He explained that, his death[Maxwell] was planned in the spiritual realm but the mob was used to accomplish the mission the physically.

The late Captain Maxwell Mahama was killed at Denkyira Obuasi in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central region on suspicion of being an armed robber.

Captain Mahama, who is the commander of the area military detachment according to his subordinates, was seen jogging along the main road and as he stopped by to ask some women for directions, the women saw a pistol on him.

The women who were alarmed by the discovery of the pistol on Captain Mahama mistook him for an armed robber thereby alerting their assembly member who allegedly organized some men to fatally lynch him and even burnt him in the process.

But speaking in an exclusive interview on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’ with show host Ohemaa Woyeje, Kofi B said the brutal killing is not normal.

“The soldier was murdered by the mob. Some people might think it is a normal physical happening. But one might be surprised to know it has a spiritual backing. Some people might want you dead but might use such means to operate to level the implications…” he said.

He indicated everyone can be a culprit in such matters hence it is only the fear of God that can save one out of such occurrences.

He, however, condemned the actions of the residents and urged Ghanaians to pray against such evil acts from happening in the country.

“With this, I think we should be afraid of God on the daily since it can happen to anyone at any time. We are all subjected to such things. We should fear God and pray such never happens anymore. I don’t understand. How can people even do that…?” he queried.
