Vandals “Rep Your Year Group Soccer Gala” Was A Success

On Saturday 10 June 2017, the Sports Committee of Old Vandals Association(OVA) organised a Soccer game as part of the ongoing 60th Anniversary of Commonwealth.

The game which commenced at 2pm, witnessed magnificent display of skills by the Old Vandals and Current Vandals which ended with a 3: 1 victory against the current Vandals. Even though the current Vandals lost, the aim of the event was accomplished: Networking, Bridging the generational gap with shared lessons from the past and establishing a mentoring platform.




In addition, the planning committee expressed appreciation to all Old Vandals and Current Vandals who took part in the 1st edition of the “Rep your year Group Soccer Gala”.  The shared experiences and the showcase togetherness was outstanding.

Also, the planning committee acknowledged the National Executives of OVA and OVA Greater Accra Executives who were there to support the event, members of the Hall management who passed through and a few fellows of the Hall who supported the program. Special acknowledgment to the media partners especially GBC 24 Sports for hosting team in their studios.
