Russia 2018: Unity can help Black Stars qualify – Amoah

Former Black Stars striker Matthew Amoah has called for Unity in the Black Stars ahead of the Russia 2018 qualifiers.
The former Vitesse Anhem striker believes the only way to get the nation’s slim World Cup chance back on track is for the players to be united.
“Football is all about team work and if the Black Stars come together as a family as we did years before, I think they can do better,” Amoah said.

The former Borrussia Dortmund striker added “they have to be committed, fight for each other and be there for one another.”
The Black Stars who are pushing for a fourth successive World Cup appearance face a difficult task to make it to Russia [2018] having picked just a point from a possible six.
Many believe Ghana’s chances of making a fourth successive World cup appearance is over but Amoah who played in two World Cup finals believes unity and commitment from the players will get the country there.
