Mujahid Ahmed Bello known in Showbiz as Fancy Gadam is believed to be the richest musician ever in the history of three regions of the north.
The assertion is yet to be disputed by his colleagues in the industry with pundits indicating that it is possible, considering how he has taken advantage of his fame and marketed himself within the area and the nation’s capital, Accra.
Independent checks by mynewsgh.com, reveal that the musician whose concert on two consecutive times filled the 21,000 capacity Tamale Sports Stadium coupled with another at the National Theater in Accra last year, among his fleet of vehicles, owns a latest Toyota Landcruiser cross country vehicle and a Toyota Camry among other barnds.
He also has dozens of taxi cabs used for commercial purposes and several tricycles commonly referred to as “yellow yellow” operating within the Tamale metropolis.
He is reported to be earning an average of about GHS 70,000 monthly from shows he performs and currently constructing a four-bedroom semi detached house at one of the prime locations in Tamale.
He started as a dancer for BFGs under the 5minutes Music label but shot to limelight with his debut album, kalippo in 2008 and has since become a household name in the music industry.
Winner of this year’s Best New Artiste at the 18th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held at the Accra International Conference has done a number of yet to be released collaborations with leaders in the industry.
