Mahama is the present day Jesus – Hajia Mahama

The National Women Organiser of the National Democratic Congress, Hajia Joyce Zainab Mahama, has said former President John Dramani Mahama is the present day Jesus.

The NDC women leader also noted that if Ghanaians knew that Mahama was the modern day Jesus, they wouldn’t have voted against him in the 2016 presidential election.

Hajia Mahama, who spoke on Okay FM, further revealed that the former President is set to once again fly the flag of the opposition party for the 2020 election despite efforts at sabotaging his come back.

“If Christians knew Jesus was a savior of the world, they would not have crucified him. If Ghanaians had been made aware President Mahama was the Jesus of present day, they would not have voted against him. If God has blessed you then you are truly blessed. Former President John Dramani Mahama is the only person to lead the NDC in order to win and transform Ghana”, she stressed.

According to her, Ghanaians are yearning for Mahama’s return after he called for the reorganization of the NDC.

“He was the one who called for party reorganization and soon after that most Ghanaians said he should return and lead the party as its flagbearer. They have seen the good things he did under his tenure as President having been deceived by the current government. It is apt they give him another chance to lead the country in 2020”, she said.

Hajia Mahama further said Ghanaians now know that they were deceived to vote for the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP in the 2016 elections, while also accusing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of still embarking on campaign instead of delivering his promises to Ghanaians.

“We are not going to accept excuses because he himself said some of the promises will be fulfilled in 100 days but we are not seeing them yet”, she said.
