Januzaj spent last season on loan at Sunderland and is not part of Jose Mourinho’s long-term plans at United, with the winger having just a year left on his contract.

Manchester United have held talks with Robert Lewandowski’s agent in a bid to bring the Bayern Munich striker to the Premier League, according to Sky Sports.

Chelsea are also being linked with a move for Lewandowski, who reportedly would prefer a move to London, but United have joined them in the hunt for the Poland international.

Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently having second thoughts over leaving Real Madrid having been left impressed with president Florentino Perez’s public statements over his future, AS reports.

Ronaldo was reportedly considering leaving the Bernabeu after being accused of tax evasion, with Perez having spoke on Monday to defend the Portuguese.

And the 32-year-old, who is at the Confederations Cup, has seemingly been convinced by the president’s comments and is now considering changing his mind over a Madrid exit.

MAN UTD WANT £90M LUKAKU

Manchester United have not given up in their effort to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, but may have to pay up to £90 million, say the Mirror.

The Belgian was said to have had agreed a deal with Chelsea ahead of a move, though United, and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, remain in the chase to secure his signature.

Lukaku scored 25 Premier League goals last season for Ronald Koeman’s Toffees but has revealed his desire to play in the Champions League next term.

MOURINHO DECIDES AGAINST RONALDO

Jose Mourinho has dismissed rumours linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to Manchester United this summer and is instead focused on completing a deal for his Real Madrid team-mate Alvaro Morata.

The United boss is keen to reunite with the Spain international, according to the Express, having handed the 24-year-old his Real debut back in 2010 while in charge of Los Blancos.

United will have to fork out around £65 million for Morata, though the fee is significantly short of the £175m which they would have to pay for Ronaldo.

MAN UTD WON’T BUDGE ON PERISIC

Manchester United will not increase their €30 million (£26.4m) for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic and are confident of concluding a deal, according to Calciomercato.com.

Inter are holding out for €50m (£44m) for the Croatian, but United have no plans to move from their original offer, with the Italian club needing to raise €30m by the end of June to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.
