EMYs – Exclusive Men of the Year Africa 2017 Awardees Shines

The second edition of the EMYs  scheduled on Saturday June 24 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra went down in history as the most remarkable Awards Ceremony in the cooperate world particularly in Africa.

Acknowledging and celebrating great achievements by men, the event brought members from business,sports, education, arts, fashion, technology and communication under one roof with outstanding music and dance performances.

After a thorough scrutiny and analysis of nominees for the 2017 EMYs , the  experienced technical team unmasked the nominees to the general public to vote which eventually had a full representation of distinguished men in 2016/2017  and Ghana decided.

Winners of the 2017 EMYs were;

Man of the Year Communications – The Pav Ansah Communicator Award

Winner: Seth Kwame Boateng

Nominees: (Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey (Abieku Santana), Bernard Avle, Ameyaw Debrah, Louis Kwame Sakyiamah(Lexis Bill), Kafui Dey)

Man of the Year Entertainment 

Winner: Joe Mettle 

(Stonebwoy,Lil Win,Shatta Wale,DJ Black,Kofi Asamoah)

Winner: Yaw Sakyi

(Tony Baffoe, Kwasi Nyantakyi, Emmanuel Tagoe, Herbert Mensah, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah) 

Man of the Year Style

Winner: Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD)

Nominees: ( Nathaniel Attoh, Okyeame Kwame, Too Sweet Annan, Stephen Appiah, Lawyer Kwame Akuffo)

Fashion Designer of the Year

Winner :Abrantie The Gentleman

Nominees:(Brommon Bespoke, Elikem Kumodzi – the tailor, Chocolate by Kwaku Bediako, Tonyi Senayah- Horseman shoes, Fred Deegbe- Heel the world (beads & shoes)

Discovery of the Year

Winner: Isaac Chwuku Udeh

Men’s Group of The Year – Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International Ghana.

First Special Recognition Award – Dr. Nii Kotei (CEO of Group Ideal)

Lifetime Achievement Award – Sir Sam Jonah (CEO Jonah Capital)

3rd Special Recognition Award – Mr Daniel McCauley (MacDan Group of Companies)

Man of Courage Award – Dr. Henry Seidu

African Young Achiever Award – Mr Adebola William

Man of the Year Africa Award – Mr Tony Elumelu

African Entertainment Legends Award Winners – Freddy Maiwey & Osibisa

Stateman Leadership Award – H.E. John Agyekum Kuffuor (Former President of Ghana)

Sports Legend Award – Abedi Pele

Ultimate Woman of The Year – Dr. Mrs. Ellen Hagan
