Peace Hyde, Dangote tour Africa’s largest oil refinery

Media personality and Forbes Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde, toured Africa’s largest oil refinery with Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote together with some special delegates.
The $12 billion Dangote Oil Refinery will be 40% larger than the current largest refinery which only has a capacity of 450, 000 barrels per day.




The plant will also house Africa’s largest urea plant with a capacity of 3 million tons per annum as well as 1,100kms of subsea pipeline infrastructure to handle 3 billion SCF of gas per day which will be produced for commercial use.
The multiple award-winning correspondent who also hosts the successful Forbes Africa ‘My Worst Day show’ which has seen her sit down with Africa’s billionaires including Aliko Dangote and Africa’s richest woman Folorunsho Alakija, was part of a special group who were given a personal tour of the refinery by Dangote which is set to open in 2019.
