I will be President when Ghanaians wise up – Kofi Wayo

Maverick politician and founder of the defunct United Renaissance Party (URP) Charles Kofi Wayo still has hope of becoming the President of Ghana someday.

In his view, he has all the qualities of a President but myopic NDC/NPP politics has clouded the jugement of Ghanaians.

The outspoken businessman who quit politics and went into farming said successive government have paid lip service to the citizenry but because majority of Ghanaians are not enlightened, they continue to vote for them.

The livid politician in an interview with Adom News’ Kofi Adoma Nwawani maintains that both New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress are only seeking to enrich themselves and not the welfare of the masses who voted for them his reason he would not accept any appointment from them.

Citing farmers in rural Ghana to buttress his point, Kofi Wayo said they are unable to fend for their families when they are supposed to be the ones to be properly taken care of.

Kofi Wayo stressed that, he will never associate himself with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because they are “thieves”.
