Sensational Ghanaian gospel musician, Godson has dedicated his latest hit song ‘Our Father’ to Adisadel College for placing third at the 2017 National Science & Maths Quiz held at the National Theatre yesterday 29th June.
Prempeh College secured the bragging right as winners with 53 points, beating closest contender Saint Thomas Aquinas with 51 points whilst Adisadel College placed third with 31 points.
Adisadel College who were extremely optimistic of retaining the title after emerging winners in the 2016 edition, has come under tempestuous shock after being humiliated bountifully.
Adisco, received a cash prize of GHC20,000 and packages from Tigo and GCB Bank for placing 3rd, St. Thomas Aquinas SHS received GHC30,000 and packages from Tigo and GCB Bank,the winners, Prempeh College also received GHC40,000 and packages from Tigo and GCB Bank.
Speaking in an exclusive interview after the competition at the National Theatre yesterday, the dedicated gospel music star, Godson a product of Adisadel College 2002 year group,accentuated passionately to Razzonline.com that,he is dedicating his latest hit song ‘Our Father’ to the School:
“Seriously am also disappointed because am an old student of the school ie 2002 year group but eii..God knows best…we were the winners in the last year’s edition and we can’t win all the time so lets take it cool and prepare well for next year…we are also winners; oh yes, we were in the finals so we didn’t disgrace ourselves at all”
In a spirited mood,Emmanuel Abossey Ashison better known as Godson,after praying for his alma mata, concluded that,”Let me congratulate the participants;Sylvanus Afful and Edward Vanderpuije for their outstanding performance…am dedicating my song ‘Our Father’ to the entire school…lets console ourselves with this great song and see what the Lord will do for ours in the coming years,”
