Ghana’s acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale seem to endorse violence in music as the artiste continues to hail Kasoa in his several posts on his social media platforms.
On Monday, there were reports that the Manager of Ashaiman-based artiste Yaa Pono, Ashley Brobbey was slapped on stage while his artiste was performing ‘Gbee Nabu’.
Reports indicates that some fans of Shatta Wale warned Yaa Pono ahead of his performance not to perform the song which is a ‘diss track’ but Pono did not heed to their call and hence infuriating the SM boys who climbed the stage while he was performing and in the course of the confrontation, his manager received the slap of his life.
The artiste Shatta Wale instead of condemning the action of his boys have refused but rather hailed them for being loyal to him. His several posts after the news about the slap went viral suggest the artiste wants to introduce violence in Ghana’s showbiz.
To add salt to injury, he has recorded a song to hail his fans in Kasoa.
