Alvaro Morata to Man Utd: Real Madrid ready to sell, £75m offer yet to be made – report

ALVARO MORATA reportedly wants to resolve his future this week – but Manchester United are yet to meet Real Madrid’s demands.
Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United throughout this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to find a long-term replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Express Sport understands United lodged an opening offer of £60million for the Spain international, which was rejected by Real.

It is believed that Morata has already told friends a deal for him to move to Old Trafford is done.

But Spanish outlet Diario Madrista say Real are yet to receive an improved offer from the Red Devils to allow him to move to the Premier League.
The La Liga giants are ready to sell the former Juventus striker and want around £75m for him.

And Morata wants his future to be resolved by the end of this week as he does not want to have to join up with Real Madrid for pre-season on July 10.

But Diario Madrista say he will only be allowed to leave if Manchester United meet their transfer demands with the La Liga giants in no rush to sell him.

Mourinho wanted to get his transfer business done before pre-season on July 9, but has so far managed to sign just one of his top targets with Victor Lindelof joining from Benfica.
It seems as if Real’s stance is pretty clear, but United must meet their demands if they are to finally bring Morata to Manchester.

Ivan Perisic and Nemanja Matic have also been mooted as top targets for the Portuguese boss, but moves for the duo have yet to materialise.

The Red Devils are apparently ready to up their offer for the Croatia international.

But in order to seal a move for Matic, Mourinho will have to wait until Antonio Conte finalises a deal for Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.
