23:00: Liverpool transfer target Naby Keita is a similar player to Chelsea star N’Golo Kante and will only continue to improve, according to Rene Meulensteen.

Keita has been linked with a move to Liverpool from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, who have told the Reds they would have to pay £70million for his services.

Meulensteen believes Keita has got the ingredients to succeed in England and says he mirrors Chelsea midfielder Kante.

“He does remind me of Kante,” Meulensteen said on BBC Radio 5 Live.

“He’s got unbelievable energy, he’s all over the place. He intercepts balls, he starts off attacks.

“He’s dynamic, he goes forward, he’s just an exciting player to watch that’s only going to get better and better.”

23:00: Paris St-Germain have named their price for winger Lucas Moura, reports claim.

According to French newspaper Le Parisien, PSG would be willing to sell their prized international, who scored 19 goals in 53 appearances last season, for £26.5million.

And Italian website Calciomercato claim Inter Milan are front-runners for his signature, but have credited Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester United with interest.

The player himself recently admitted that a move to another European club could be possible this summer.

“In every transfer window there is always a lot of speculation,” Lucas told Diario De Sao Paulo.

“I have objectives I want to reach in Europe. Leaving PSG for another European club could be a possibility for me but I am under contract and I have no offers in front of me at this moment.

“If something arrives, we will see what is best for me and for the club. Right now, though, I am doing well in France.”

23:00: Michael Keane is set to complete a move to Everton within the next few days, reports claim.

Burnley’s star centre-half has been linked with a host of top Premier League clubs, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

But Keane is eager to move on and Everton are prepared to match the Clarets’ £25m price-tag.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “We are expecting the deal to be done with Everton in the next couple of days.

“There are few things left to sort out but the deal is very close to being finalised.”
