IVAN PERISIC has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United.
The Inter Milan winger has been on Jose Mourinho’s radar for some time but a deal looks to be edging closer.
And Italian outlet Premium Sport claim Perisic has already settled on the terms of his contract at United.
The report suggests he will pocket £6.2million [€7m] a season with the Red Devils and his heart is set on a move to Old Trafford.
Luciano Spalletti is desperate to keep hold of his star man but Perisic feels he has gone as far as he can with the Serie A side and Inter are only able to offer him £3.5m a season.
The 28-year-old wants a fresh start in the Premier League and is looking forward to playing under Mourinho.
But despite Perisic reportedly agreeing terms with the Red Devils, the two clubs still need to settle on a fee.
Inter are said to be demanding around £44m [€55m] for his services and United’s offer of £39.6m [€45m] has already been swiftly rejected.
Mourinho is hoping to get some more of his transfer business done before they jet off to the States on their pre-season tour on Sunday.
The Portuguese boss already has deals for Real Madrid ace Alvaro Morata and Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic in the pipeline but Perisic’s arrival is high on his agenda too.
The 28-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 11 goals an providing eight assists in 26 Serie A appearances.
