Highlife music legend Nana Kwame Ampadu has said his talent is not limited to only music but has featured in many movies.
He revealed to Kasapafmonline.com, he also writes movie scripts and sell to producers.
According to Nana Ampadu after his first major script ‘Abaawa Mary’ in 1988, he has written several other scripts for Danfo BA Movie Productions.
He was spotted over the weekend at the Silverbird Cinemas, WestHills Mall to watch a movie premiere he featured in as a Pastor.
Asked about his love for the work of God, Nana replied, “Doing God’s work has given me respect among people that I meet” and “no job is better than doing God’s will. I just love it. I love preaching.”
“I’m doing the work of God as an Evangelist. I have a church where I worship but I go around in many churches,” Nana Ampadu disclosed to Kasapafmonline.com.
In the new movie he featured in ‘Life and Trials’ which depicts the real life of a young couple who were hit by issues surrounding their marriage and work, Nana Ampadu’s continuous intercessory prayers saved the young ambitious man from death after being sentenced to death by firing squad.
The highlife great is credited with numerous popular highlife tracks and he is known to have composed over 800 songs.
