‘Kenkey for the Needy’ event slated for July 29

The 3rd edition of the Tatas and Friends Foundation’s biggest charity gathering; Kenkey for the Needy is slated for July 29 at the Efua Sutherland Park (Children’s Park) from 10am to 9pm.

The aim of the event is to primarily raise funds for deprived schools in various parts of the country. Tatas and Friends uses the event to tackle educational needs of the beneficiary school(s).

The event Kenkey for the Needy is in its 3rd edition and it is in commemoration with the 4th year anniversary of Tatas and Friends Foundation.

This public fundraising event was first held in 2015 that received a lot of commendation. The event also provides a platform for people to socialize as well as to market and promote brands.




Let me ask you – ‘How do you love your Kenkey’? To some people Kenkey is best served with red fish while for others kenkey is best served with some pork or chicken. Now that you know your one ball of Kenkey and fish can help a child get a place to study; will it change the number of balls of Kenkey and fish you will have?
