GARETH BALE’s agent has told the Real Madrid board he will NOT be forced into a move to PSG – and that if he does leave he will only join Manchester United.
Jonathan Barnett met the Madrid chiefs and told them of Bale’s wishes, according to reports in Spain.
Bale is keen to stay and fight for his place at Madrid but if he is forced out would be keen on joining Jose Mourinho’s resolution at United.
And it is claimed Bale’s people have told Madrid to listen if an offer from Old Trafford is made.
Dario Gol report that Barnet met with the board to issue Bale’s demands.
Bale lost his place in the Madrid side at the end of last year after an injury ruled him out of the La Liga run in.
He was back in time for the Champions League final but Isco’s form meant he started on the bench.
Florentino Perez is keen to seal a deal for teenage wonder kid Kylian Mbappe and Bale could be the one forced out to make room.
Zinedine Zidane is desperate to keep Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, despite the Portuguese’s frustration at his tax fraud case.
But Ronaldo now appears likely to stay after an initial desire to leave.
So Bale could be the odd one out with the emergence of Marco Asensio also to consider.
Madrid are trying to sell Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez and have reportedly offered them to Chelsea in a double deal worth £132m.
