Former Ghana international, Sammy Kufuor, has lavished praise on dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
In an interview with TV3, the former Bayern Munich defender, described Shatta Wale as an exceptional music talent. Kufuor said Shatta Wale was his best musician because of his creativity.
“If you tell me to choose one, people may say he is controversial but I will still choose him – Shatta Wale… because he is very creative; he creates and I like people who want to create something,” he said.
The retired footballer said Shatta Wale’s song, Taking Over, was his favourite. He said his children love it and they they listen to it each time he is with them.
Dede described Shatta Wale as a talented singer with a unique, God-given talent. The midfielder said Shatta Wale was the “number one” musician in Ghana and that the “Kakai” singer had made songs that had touched the hearts of many Ghanaians, including his own.
He said Shatta Wale had taken over the Ghanaian music scene and was growing from strength to strength.
