Official! Kennedy Agyapong joins Instagram

Maverick Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, has joined internet-based photo/video-sharing application platform, Instagram, Ghanaweb.com can confirm.

Barely a week after joining, the account with five posts has more than five thousand (5000) followers while he follows only eight. The eight include President Akufo-Addo, Sarkodie, Tracy Sarkcess (Sarkodie’s wife) and Net2 TV which is under his Kencity Media Limited.

“I’m now on Instagram and I want to thank everybody that has made wonderful comments about me. I didn’t know you appreciate me a lot. I want to say a big thank you,” he said in a video he posted.




One of the pictures which captures him and a little girl was captioned, “She’s one of my angels. My family and my country are the main reasons why I keep on fighting. I am trying to set up Ghana for our youth because they are the future”

Another one with a maize seller read, “You see, me and this woman are no different, just because people know my name doesn’t make me better. Make sure you remember to respect those who work hard.”

The posts have received lots of comments from followers, some of whom are requesting he also joins snapchat, a mobile messaging service from Snap Inc. that sends a photo or video to someone, lasts only up to 10 seconds before it disappears.
