Allotey Jacobs slams Inusah Fuseini

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has slammed a former Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Inusah Fuseini, for installing ‘spying’ devices in his office.

“It is wrong for the Minister to do that…it did not lie under his purview to do that, if he wanted security protection, he should have contacted National Security…,” he said.

The National Security on Monday, July 10, 2017 uncovered the secretly planted audio-visual recorder in a huge Coat of Arms plaque hanging in the Minister’s office.

The espionage set up included a camera, a storage unit and another device suspected to be a transmitter.

It is believed to be able to pick a whisper 35-feet away.

Inusah Fuseini has openly admitted that he was the one who caused the installation of the device.

He however claimed that the security devices were not functional as he never finished installing them.

“We never finished the installation, we started but never finished so to all intent and purposes, they were useless…,” he said.

But Allotey Jacobs speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Tuesday blasted the Minister for the action as according to him, he had no right to do so.

He insisted that the former Minister should have informed the National Security to beef up his security instead of him doing it himself.
