Former president Mahama’s team neglected the late Atta Mills’ people – Mettle Nunoo

Rojo Mettle Nunoo, who served as the campaign manager for the late president, John Evans Atta Mills, has revealed that former president Mahama had his own team, and they totally neglected all those who sided with the late president. Atta Mills.

To him, this affected the transitional process between the two former leaders. Nunoo was quick to add that this issue played a key role in the National Democratic Party’s (NDC) defeat in the 2016 polls.

He went further to advise that the older generation of politicians in the NDC should give way to the younger ones. This, he believes , is because the younger ones are coming on board with fresh perspectives to politics.




He added that the Mahama team rejected crucial findings collated by the Mills loyalists. This, he believed was because those faithful to Mahama were convinced of an easy win, hence they weren’t interested in any opinions to the contrary.

The deputy secretary of the NDC, George Lawson, however stated that all that Nunoo stated is news to him. He indicated the investigative report was very likely presented to former president Mahama alone, but not to the leadership of the party
