Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Robert Ahomka-Lindsay last week told diasporans to stop ‘whining’ about things not working in Ghana.
“Nobody likes whiners, people that spend all the time whining all the time really get on people’s nerves so stop whining,” the Deputy Minister said at the Diaspora Homecoming Summit at the Accra International Conference Centre on Thursday.
He entreated the investors to spend time to understand the process and avoid taking shortcuts because that can only get them into trouble.
But his advice did not go down well with one of the investors who asked the Deputy Minister, “who travels 3,000 miles to be a whiner?”
