I told Kotoko management about the accident – Kintampo disaster prophet

General overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Prophet Reindolf Oduro Gyebi popularly known as Eagle Prophet claims the Asante Kotoko fatal accident happened because management of the club turned a deaf ear to a revelation he made to them.

Eagle Prophet tells Abusua FM Sports that he informed one of the management members that they should not return on the same day after their Ghana Premier League midweek match day 22 fixture against Inter Allies on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors were beaten 1-0 by the Eleven is to One Side at the El Wak sports stadium.

According to the man of God, he told the team to sleep over and return on the following day but management of the Fabulous family failed to adhere to God’s directives.

In spite of this, the team set off for Kumasi on that same Wednesday after their match against Inter Allies. Unfortunately they bumped into a stationary vehicle at Nkawkaw resulting in a fatal accident around 9:45 pm.

The equipment officer, Mr. Asare was pronounce dead upon arrival at the Holy Family Hospital [Nkawkaw.]

Eagle Prophet who is saddened by the incident indicated the said management member he talked to has been texting him telling him to ask God for forgiveness for not listening to his word.




”I had a prophesy that something terrible was going to happen to the team on their way back to Kumasi after Wednesday’s game so I prompted a key member of the management team to inform him about the prophesy.”

He continued ”In fact I specifically told them not to return to Kumasi after the game because of the devil’s plan but they didn’t listen and decided to return to Kumasi in the night.”

‘’I called that management around 4pm whiles the game was ongoing to inform him about it and advised the team to sleep in Accra after the game.

All players except Ashittey Ollenu who were on the bus have been discharged, Godwin Ablordey, member of the technical team has been discharged as well.

Abusuafmonline.com can report authoritatively that Head Coach Steve Pollack, driver Kofi Berchie and forward Ollenu Ashietey are the two persons who are currently at the Komfo Anokye teaching hospital receiving treatment.

All the injured players have therefore been discharged.
