GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human 2017 Action in Legon Sports Stadium

 

The GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human 2017 which forms part of the 5th of the 7year programme to unearth athletes for the Nation comes of this Saturday 22nd July 2017. Venue for the event is University of Ghana Sports Directorate Stadium from 1pm to 4pm.

Entry and Registration is free according to the organisers of the event.

The Competition begun with a glamourous launched in 25th April 2017 which was well attended by dignitaries including the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo at the Adidas House in Accra. The sprint event proceeded to discover talents from the various Regions in Ghana from April 29 in Takoradi, May 27 in Tamale, June 17 in Kumasi, and now July 22 in Accra. The finals is scheduled in Kumasi on September 16.




The categories for the sprint event are Under 10, Under 15, Under 18 and the seniors.

Special side attraction for the event: Corporate and Celebrity 4×100 meters relay.

Meanwhile, the event is organised by Ghana’s Fasters Human Reks Brobby , founder and CEO. He has worked on Projects in the United States of America, with Al Gore while he was Vice President at the White House, with Oprah Winfrey in Chicago all while he was with Operation HOPE in Los Angeles, a Non Profit Banking Organization that takes Financial Literacy to underserved Communities in the US.

He was part of the project team of the African Cup of Nations Ghana 2008 as Deputy Chief Operating Officer in charge of Operations, Citizen Kofi Entertainment Center, Marcel Desailly Investment Ltd. and www.ghanasfastesthumanu18.com. He made an appearance in 1984 Olympic Games, got to the semi-final stage and was ranked the fastest in Africa in 1987 with his personal best of 10.08 seconds. He was the first Ghanaian to be sponsored and stayed with Team Adidas for 13 years.
