Learn hard in school – Mahama advises late Major Mahama’s kids

Former President John Dramani Mahama has advised the children of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama to take their studies seriously.

The former president recently paid a visit to the Burma Camp residence of Major Mahama’s widow, Barbara and her two children, Jaden and Jerry.

“Learn hard in school, okay,” President Mahama who describes the children as his “grand nephews,” is seen telling the children while photographers take pictures.

He also jokingly asked the children if they will join the army.

Major Mahama was gruesomely lynched and later burnt by some youth of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region, who accused him of being an armed robber.

Captain Mahama was the Commander of a military detachment stationed at Diaso in the Upper Denkyira West District.
