Tepa Midwifery principal summoned to Accra for questioning

The beleaguered Principal of the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery College Victoria Amoah and the accountant of the school Richard Asamoah have been summoned to Accra for further investigations following the financial scandal that his afflicted them.
The development comes after a seven-member delegation from the Ministry of Health stormed the College to probe claims of fraud leveled against the Principal and the accountant.
The Principal of the college in the Ahafo Ano North of the Ashanti region are embroiled in GHȻ9, 247,800 and a GH 7 million cedis admission frauds.

The two administrative members allegedly used fake receipts and invoices to milk the government institution during every admission year.
The alleged corrupt practice began in 2011 two years after the college was established. A deep throat source within the management of the school and a teaching staff confirmed the corrupt practices of the two administrators with documents to back their claims.
Attempts by the Police to quiz the principal proved futile after Ms. Amoah failed to honour several invitations by the Police.
Meanwhile, the paramount chief of Tepa traditional council, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, who has written several petitions to the Health Ministry over the alleged corruption in the institution, has commended the seven-member delegation for picking the matter up
