Zlatan Ibrahimovic hints at Man Utd stay after his children are enrolled into club academy

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has dropped the clearest hint yet he will stay at Manchester United next season.
Ibrahimovic joined Manchester United from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer a year ago.

Many thought the 35-year-old would be too slow to handle life in the Premier League, especially how he had spent four years playing in an easier league in France.

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic lived up to his superstar status by plundering home 28 goals as the Red Devils won the EFL Cup and Europa League.

However, a serious knee injury sustained in a Europa League clash against Anderlecht in April ultimately saw the club not negotiate a new contract.
Despite that, United remain keen on having him in their ranks for next season once the striker has fully recovered.

Jose Mourinho admitted earlier this week that re-signing the veteran was an option.

“If the decision is to stay and wait until December – he can’t be back until then – why not wait? We are speaking and changing ideas,” he said.

And now The Sun are claiming Ibrahimovic has enrolled his children into the Red Devils’ academy.

Sons Maximillian and Vincent will supposedly be playing in the same Under-10s team as club legends Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt.
The Sun quote a source as saying: “Ibra looks set to stay at the club and has even put his two children back into the youth system.

“It’s the clearest indication yet he will remain here, but things might can always change in the future.

“The two young lads play in a youth group alongside Giggs and Butt’s kids, they all get on very well.”

United are expected to offer Ibrahimovic a short-term deal if he can prove his fitness by Christmas.
