Ivan Perisic to Man Utd drags on: Inter Milan chief reveals ‘right offer’ yet to be made

MANCHESTER UNITED are yet to make the ‘right offer’ for Ivan Perisic, according to Inter Milan technical director Walter Sabatini.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Ivan Perisic for weeks but are struggling to reach an agreement with Inter Milan.

The Red Devils had hoped to sign the Croatia international on the cheap as Inter needed to balance their books to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.

However, the Italian side have been playing hardball and are not willing to sell the winger for less than their £50million valuation.

And Inter technical director Walter Sabatini has revealed United are yet to make a suitable offer for the 28-year-old.
“You all know what we want,” Sabatini told Sky Sports Italia when quizzed about Perisic.

“The right offer has not yet arrived.”

Sabatini was also pressed about deals for Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick and Fiorentina midfielder Matias Vecino.

However, he gave little away as Inter boarded their flight to China for pre-season.
“Did I adore Schick when I was at Roma? I love everyone. I can’t talk privately, only in the press room,” he added.

“He’s a talent, but he’s not an Inter player.

“Everything is missing, and he still belongs to Sampdoria. I don’t think we’ll talk with his agents.

“Vecino? Something’s missing: thinking and doing are both lacking.”
