Ex- President, Jerry John Rawlings has praised the CEO of Wembley Sports Construction Company Limited, Robert Tetteh Coleman, for a yeoman’s job for the construction of the Accra Aca Artificial Turf which was financed by Black Stars’ captain Asamoah Gyan.
Rawlings was present at the Accra Academy Campus as Asamoah Gyan commissioned the 5,280 square metre artificial turf for his Alma Mata on Tuesday.
The Statesman was impressed with the Ghanaian owned company specialised in constructing artificial turf to put up a FIFA approved minimum standard pitch worth over $250,000.
“Congratulations young man for this edifice and I am impressed with your work and I think you need to produce more for the nation and some individuals in the country to harness talents in the country. I think Government should liaise with you so every district or municipality can get this edifice through their MPs”, he told Robert Tetteh Coleman.
Meanwhile, Wembley Sports Construction Company Limited is already embarking on a project tagged ‘One Constituency One Artificial Turf project’ in over 270 constituencies.
