MANCHESTER UNITED defender Eric Bailly has been handed a three-game ban by UEFA.
The Ivory Coast defender, 23, was dismissed after a brawl in the final minutes of United’s Europa League semi-final aggregate victory back in May.
Bailly was sent off for a swipe at Celta’s former Manchester City striker John Guidetti, with Facundo Roncaglia also dismissed for retaliating.
Bailly missed the final against Ajax and Uefa have now extended his ban following a hearing.
He has already served one game so will now miss the European Super Cup clash with Real Madrid and the first Champions League game of the season.
United are due to face the La Liga champions on August 8 and will be hoping to achieve another win,h ainvg defeated them on penalties in a pre-season friendly last night.
