ARSENAL have not received any offers yet for Alexis Sanchez – but Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pay upwards of £40million.
The Gunners are facing a real battle to keep hold of their star forward.
Sanchez has been reluctant to agree to a new deal at the Emirates, with his contract expiring next summer.
That has seen Manchester City and PSG make the strongest interest in signing the 28-year-old.
Arsene Wenger has so far remained persistent that Arsenal will not sell Sanchez, despite his current stance.
And according to Sky Sports, the Gunners are still waiting to see if any club comes forward with a bid.
It is said the prospect of working with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at City is an appealing prospect for Sanchez.
But PSG are in the hunt for his signature and are willing to hand him wages of £250,000 a week.
That is around double his salary at Arsenal, who also want to give Sanchez a significant pay rise.
Sky Sports add PSG are prepared to spend more than £40m to try and convince the Gunners into selling.
Reports in France had claimed a £44.7m bid had been lodged by the French giants, but that does not appear to be the case.
Wenger, though, insists Sanchez is not pushing for an exit, having not asked to leave this summer.
It remains to be seen if the Chile international will look to force his way out of the north London club.
