Neymar travelling to LONDON as his agent confirms PSG will pay his £199m release clause

NEYMAR is travelling to London before completing his move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to a Spanish journalist.
Barcelona have given Neymar permission to discuss a move away from the club but will insist his buy-out clause of €222million (£198.5m) is paid in full.

The Brazilian superstar made a 40-minute visit to Barca’s training ground this morning to inform them of his wish to leave the club then left before their training session began.

French outlet RMC Sport said Neymar was expected in Paris later today or tomorrow morning at the latest, with his medical set for tomorrow and a grand unveiling on Saturday.

But Helena Condis Edo, a sports journalist and TV presenter, has claimed he will make a pit-stop in London with his agent confirming his move to PSG.

In a series of tweets, Condis said Neymar was travelling to London this afternoon to “disconnect” from the speculation over his future and study his PSG contract with his father Neymar Santos Senior and agent Wagner Ribeiro.
Ribeiro has just returned to Paris and even tweeted a picture of the Eiffel Tower and the caption: “Wonderful Paris, the Eiffel Tower, wine, gastronomy and FOOTBALL.”

Condis added that Neymar and his father did not meet Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu today and that his flight out of the city from Barcelona–El Prat Airport was scheduled to leave at 1pm GMT.

The COPE presenter also quoted Neymar’s agent Ribeiro as saying PSG are going to pay Neymar’s release clause in the next few hours with a presentation set for the end of the week.
