BLAISE MATUIDI has arrived in Turin to have a medical with Juventus ahead of an £18.5million move from Paris Saint-Germain.
Once his medical has been completed, he is expected to sign a three year contract, keeping him at the club until 2020.
Matuidi is currently PSG’s longest serving player having been at the club for six years after he joined from French club Saint-Etienne for a fee of €7.5million.
Matuidi started his professional playing career for french club Troyes after being linked with two-time defending champions at the time Lyon.
In six years at PSG, Matuidi has made 203 league appearances, scoring 23 goals from midfield in the process.
The Frenchman has also represented his country at U19 and U21 levels respectively as well as making 58 appearances and scoring 8 goals for the senior team.
While playing in the French Capital he has won four Ligue 1 trophies, three Coupe de France and four Coupe de la Ligue.
Matuidi has been named in the Ligue 1 Team of the year twice while playing for PSG as well as picking up the French Player of the Year in 2015.
When the deal is completed Matuidi will become the 18th French player to play for Juventus, following in the footsteps of compatriots such as Michel Platini, Didier Deschamps, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry and Paul Pogba.
