Man Utd will beat Man City to the title, Chelsea have got big problems – Gerry Francis

JOSE MOURINHO will land Manchester United the title in his second season at Old Trafford.
That is the view of pundit and West Brom first-team coach Gerry Francis, who says Romelu Lukaku will have a big say on the destination of the trophy.

Lukaku joined Manchester United from Everton for an initial £75million in July and scored two goals on his Premier League debut for the club in the 4-0 win over West Ham on Sunday.

Francis believes only three teams can win the title, with United being challenged by rivals Manchester City and Tottenham.




However, he reckons last year’s record-breaking champions Chelsea, who lost 3-2 to Burnley in their first game of the season on Saturday, will not have what it takes to win the league back-to-back.
“I think it will be out of three teams,” Francis said on Sky Sports.

“I think it will be out of Manchester United, Man City or Tottenham.

“I don’t see any of the other teams (winning it), I think Chelsea have got real problems.

“I think with Manchester United, Lukaku is going to make a big difference. He scored goals at West Bromwich Albion and Everton and all in the Premier League.
“Proven goalscorer, will come in with 20-odd goals for Manchester United, make a massive difference to them. They’re going to go close.
