I will fight for female students to be part of Nana Addo’s ‘Free SHS’ – Maame Serwaa

Popular teenage actress and Kumawood superstar, Clara Amoateng Benson, better known as Maame Serwaa in showbiz circles has joined other entertainers who threw their support behind the government of Ghana’s “Free SHS” project.

The teen actor who recently graduated from senior high school stated that she will encourage girl-child education under the “Free SHS” project to engender women empowerment.

Maame Serwaa revealed that empowerment of your females through all means was a major goal for her

She cited girl-child education as one of her main priorities and stated that she would support young girls to reach the highest level of education.




“Girl-child education is my priority and we will ensure that all the girls benefit from the free senior high school programme that will begin in September so we are calling on all cooperate bodies to come to our Aid and make it successful”, she stated.

According to Maame Serwaa, most Ghanaian parents do not take the time to encourage their female children to participate in education.

Maame Serwaa revealed that his behavior by parents mostly resulted in teenage pregnant, a menace she wanted to curb.
