Arsenal transfer news: Man City prepare £30m plus Raheem Sterling offer for Alexis Sanchez

MANCHESTER CITY are prepared to offer £30million plus Raheem Sterling to Arsenal in their latest attempt to sign Alexis Sanchez.
The Chile international is keen to reunite with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad despite Arsenal being desperate to keep hold of him.

Sanchez is out of contract with Arsenal at the end of the season and City are keen to take advantage of the situation.

However, their initial attempts to sign him with a £50m offer were swiftly rejected last night.

But the Mirror claim City are ready to return to the table, this time with Sterling included in their offer.
The report suggests Sterling could be open to a move to north London if he is guaranteed playing time by Arsene Wenger.




Talk of Arsenal requesting Sergio Aguero over the England international has been mooted but Wenger is said to be happy with his striker options and is not interested.

Wenger remains defiant Sanchez won’t be sold and with the transfer deadline looming the Frenchman is close to hanging on to his star man.
But the 28-year-old looks to be taking matters into his own hands to seal a reunion with Guardiola.

Sanchez is away on international duty with Chile ahead of his country’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Paraguay but has requested to leave to sort out his future.

The Mirror suggest City already have an official in South America on standby.
