CHELSEA star Eden Hazard is expecting a late approach from Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
Real Madrid’s arsenal looks well-stocked with the La Liga giants already having Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio in their ranks.
However, Spanish outlet Diario Madridista claims that Hazard is expecting an approach from Zinedine Zidane’s side.
The Belgium international has missed the start of Chelsea’s Premier League campaign due to injury.
But that supposedly has not stopped Hazard dreaming of joining Real Madrid before the transfer window shuts on Thursday.
It is said that he is paying special attention to Bale’s situation at the Bernabeu.
The Wales international is still on Manchester United’s radar with Jose Mourinho hopeful of pushing through a late deal.
And, should Bale depart, then Hazard expects Madrid to make him their replacement.
However, in good news for Chelsea, Real supposedly will not be making a bid.
Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his admiration for Eden Hazard, publicly praising him in the past.
But the Frenchman feels a move for Hazard could have a negative impact on rising star Asensio.
Real are also keen to keep Bale for at least another 12 months.
Diario Madridista add, however, that the two clubs have a good relationship due to Alvaro Morata’s transfer this summer.
And that means a move further down the line is not to be ruled out.
