GPL Wrap: Hearts draw Aduana; Sharks pip Kotoko

Accra Hearts of Oak failed to beat Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium by drawing 3-3 in a very thrilling encounter leaving both teams maintaining their third and first position respectively.

Third place Hearts have 44-points with Aduana leading the league table with 48-points after week 26 of the Ghana Premier League.

Elsewhere, Kotoko’s hopes of maintaining  their winning ways as they travelled to the Ndoum Stadium at Elmina to challenge in-form Elmina Sharks was curtailed when they lost by a lone goal.

This means the Porcupine Warriors are now trailing rivals Hearts by five points in fourth place.

Second place WAFA, welcomed relegation-threatened Great Olympics to the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope in a bid to restore their lead but also drew goalless

In the other matches, Ashantigold walloped Berekum Chelsea by 5 -2 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, Wa All Stars journeyed to the El-Wak Stadium to also draw Inter Allies in a goalless game, Medeama hosted Ebusua Dwarfs at the Tarkwa T&A Park and handed them 2-0 scoreline defeat,

Liberty Professionals 2-1 Bechem United while Bolga All Stars confirmed their relegation departure with a 0-2  defeat to Tema Youth at the Tamale Utrecht Academy Park.
