I haven’t received a penny for work done at BOST – A Plus

Under fire musician, Kwame Asare Obeng has admitted being awarded a contract under the current government to transport fuel from Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) to parts of the country.

According to him, he was awarded the contract during the first quarter of 2017 indicating that he did not get it because he was a party person but the fact that he met the requisite criteria for persons supposed to be selected.

He however stated that since he started the transportation, he has been pre-financing it and not a single penny has been advanced to him by government for the services he rendered.

“I have not received a penny for the fuel I have been transporting which started somewhere in the first quarter of this year. I am actually on my way to cancel that contract with BOST. I have heard people speculate some figures around as being the amount I am receiving for transporting fuel, let me place on record that I have not received a penny from them and I challenged anyone who said I have received the amount bandied around to prove it”, a livid A plus challenged.

The musician this week has come under fire following allegations two deputy Chiefs of staff under current government are corrupt.

Maverick Brong Ahafo Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye DC believes the outburst of the party sympathizer is borne out of greed revealing how he has made a lot of cash since the NPP came into power.

But in response, A Plus said he was abrogating the contract purposely because he wants to save the integrity of the president as some detractors want to use it as leeway to drag his name into the mud.
