Premier League stats: Best value for money top flight goalscorers

PREMIER LEAGUE scorers aren’t always great value for money – but these bargains certainly are.
Harry Kane may have finished last season as the Premier League Golden Boot winner, but he wasn’t the best value for money goal-getter in the top flight.

A new study conducted by SBO.net has uncovered the top value players based on their goals to salary ratio.

Kane is among the top 10 but several other top scorers stuck the ball in the net for a far lower cost.

Romelu Lukaku earned around £80,000 per week at Everton and bagged 25 in the top flight, but more cost-effective stars were in full-flow.
